The Futures Project

The Hidden Genius Project seeks to reveal the true potential of black male youth and transform their communities from the inside out. Through our student-centered, project-based approach, we invest in young black men, give them access to technology training, and plug them into an ecosystem of  innovation and empowerment.

Reset identifies promising young people trapped in the cycles of poverty, court-involvement, and unemployment, and offers them a high quality residential program, where they learn to work, study, and live in healthy ways.

826 Valencia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting under-resourced students ages six to eighteen with their creative and expository writing skills and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.

The W. Haywood Burns Institute works with decision makers at the local level to affect change that transforms juvenile justice systems by facilitating a collaborative environment where community and system stakeholders strategically use data to reduce racial and ethnic disparities.  Founder and Executive Director, James Bell, has worked with youth justice systems across the country during his career.

SF Achievers is a community-based non-profit organization providing college scholarships and mentoring services to African-American male high school students in the San Francisco Unified School District

Huckleberry’s mission is to educate, inspire, and support under served youth to develop healthy life choices, to maximize their potential, and to realize their dreams. 

The ROSELAND YOUTH CENTER (RYC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing positive programs and activities for the children and youth of Southwest Santa Rosa (Roseland Area).  Roseland Youth Center is currently a youth center without walls, offering after school programs such as drumming, dance, and literacy programs.
